About Us
United Young Farmers Forum (UYFF) is a coalition of young farmers
across Nigeria with over 250,000 members and 37 chapters spread across 37
states of the Federation UYFF is the largest agro-allied youth groups in
Nigeria We have been around for more than 10 years but were formally
incorporated in 2016 with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Led by young
people, for young people, United Young Farmers Forum provide anyone aged 10 to
45 with a fantastic chance to meet lifelong friends and find a career in
Agribusiness.

We envision a country where young people who are willing to work,
get trained and take a little risk can support themselves and their families in
farming.

mobilize, and engage young farmers in Nigeria to ensure their success.
Our Guiding Principle
The United Young Farmers Forum supports practices and policies that will
sustain young, independent and prosperous farmers now and in the future.
Objectives/Goals
To strengthen public sector governance by giving voice to smallholders,
rural women and agricultural laborers; support participatory development and
monitor agriculture policy making, strategy development budgeting, and program
implementation; and hold policy makers and public administrators accountable.
To mobilize resources and promote partnerships with external sources of
support to the agriculture sector in collaboration with the Inter-ministerial
bodies; and submit sector specific action plans and periodic reports to the
Inter-Ministerial bodies for the purpose of coordination, and monitoring and
evaluation of donor projects and their impacts on intended beneficiaries.
Support capacity building to improve farmers’ knowledge, technical
skills and capacities; support and promote women and youth empowerment, provide
technical assistance in agricultural activities; ensure adequate, balanced,
impartial, in-kind support to vulnerable farmers; and participate in the
delivery of various services, especially at the local government and community
levels.
Our Structure
Prince Beegreat Wilson Orimadegun is a practicing farmer and an
information technology expert, he is a member of the Global Forum for
Agricultural Research. He has a passion for training and networking youths in
Agribusiness. He is the President of United Young Farmers Forum a network of
about 250,000 youths across Nigeria. He is an accomplished businessman and a
philanthropist.
The Board of Trustees made up of National Council leaders, state
representatives and specialists in areas such as Agricultural Extension,
Climate Change, Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, and Nutrition &
Gender Studies. They are there to guide and support the National Council and to
help implement the decisions they make.
Members are the bricks and mortar of UYFF and it is members who decide
how the organization should be run. But with 250,000 members that could be a
very long meeting! This is where the National Council and Steering Groups come
in. Elected by UYFF members, the National Council make all the big decisions in
UYFF. Steering groups are charged by the National Council with leading on their
specialist areas and to be ambassadors for UYFF.
Operations
UYFF may be led by the members, but there is also a dedicated staff team
based in Abuja who help to create a framework for national activities. The team
organize national competitions and training, give members a voice in
agriculture, ensure members supports practices and policies that will
sustain young, independent and prosperous farmers now and in the future. The
head office is located at Suite 1, NNPC Estate Office, Toro Sreet, Area 11,
Garki Abuja.

1. How do I join and participate in the activities of the NGO?
Answer: You can join by obtaining a membership form, filling and paying
the stipulated registration fees. Forms can be obtained from our corporate
Headquarters : Suite 1 NNPC shopping complex, Toro Street, Area 11, Garki,
Abuja, or any of our state offices, alternatively you can send a request for

2. What are the categories for registration/membership?
Answer: There are five categories of membership; each has its prescribed
registration fee.
i. Ages 10 –18 student/farmers/artisans/Non School
Attending Youths: N1000/year
ii Undergraduates/Polytechnic/Monotechnic Students :
N2000/year
iii Youth Corpers/Unemployed/ Unschooled Adults :
N3000/year
Iv Post NYSC Graduate/Unemployed Graduates: N3600
V. Working Professionals : N5000
.3. What are the benefits of membership?
i. Our members have opportunity to participate in our capacity building
and practical oriented hands –on agriculture training programmes held at
various locations of the country monthly.
Ii. All our members have opportunity to come to our Training and
Research Farm for Hands-on Training on major farm enterprises such as
aquaculture, poultry farming, Dairy Farming, Crop production, Crop Processing,
Packaging and Value Addition.
Iv. UYFF is affiliated with the best agricultural institutions in New
Zealand, Holland and India, Members can be facilitated for short term
foreign training in their areas of interest in agribusiness in any of these
institutions at relatively reasonable prices.
v. All members have access to our experts under our Farmer’s
Extension & Advisory service Initiative (FEAS 1) at any
of our offices across all 36 states & FCT . They can also call our Farmers
Call Centre for questions on any subject concerning their farms or
agricultural ventures.
V. We help our members with business plan, feasibility studies and
offer them general support.
4. Does UYFF has any connection to State or Federal Government or
International Organization ?
Yes, we are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, we are
also working on partnerships with all states government, Federal Ministry of
Youth, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the National
Assembly. We are affiliated with major Foreign Embassies in Nigeria and we are
registered with the Network of NGOs in Nigeria and the United Nations Network
of NGOs and CSOs.
5. Can I join UYFF or participate in programme by UYFF without any
Financial Commitment?
No, We require some commitment from all our members to ensure
sustainability of our initiatives and ensure seriousness of members.
